At Jen's Florals, we grow seasonal, cottage garden style flowers on the flower farm situated in the Forest of Dean.
Earlier in the year were an array of varieties of tulips, ranunculus of all colours, as well as many specialty daffodils and alliums.
Later in the season will come the sweet peas, astrantia and astilbe, just to name a few of our old favourites.
The peak summer months of May through to September are oh-so-exciting. An abundance of dreamy floral blooms will be available.
From tall and elegant stars such as Veronica, Gaura and Verbascum, to the classy umbelliferous Ammi and Daucus, and cornflowers and nigella for your airy frothy fillers for any occasion.
Flowers for August
Late summer is synonymous with the dahlia.
This year we have bulked up our stock, and have varieties of all colours and types, ranging from cactus to pom pom to whopper dinner plates (including everybody's favourite 'Cafe au lait') . Pinks, lilacs and ombre semi-cactus varieties amongst the mix.
Also some autumn hues of Red Jill, Yellow Jill, Wine Eyed Jill (my fave!),
and Akita, Cambridge, Vancouver, David Howard and Bishop of York too.
